Show Garden, NEC Birmingham

Our show garden ‘Calm and Centred’, is a space that promotes simplicity and ease in gardening. It was created especially with those that may be apprehensive about gardening in mind. The circular design based on the traditional ‘keyhole’ planting bed scheme is specially sunken to create a more sheltered environment to assist with plant growth. Carefully selected edible plants, such as nasturtiums with cabbages and carrots with sage, have been used in the design as these also make good planting companions which attract pollinators, repel unwanted insects and assist plant growth. ‘Calm and Centred’ seeks balance weaving flowers and vegetables together to create a beautiful, productive garden.

Coastal Garden, Swansea

The client was keen to have an informal cottage style garden with meditteranean influences for this coastal front garden. The design incorporated drifts of pebbles and cottage style planting, with enclosure provided by taller shrubs separating the driveway from the main garden. Care and consideration was given to the choice of plants as these needed to be wind and salt tolerant.

Garden in Wick, Pershore

The design for this garden in Wick, Pershore, drew inspiration from the areas rich local history, which is that of ghostly sightings and leylines. The design is based on a star shaped pattern as some believe this is how earth energy manifests itself across the surface of the earth. Linear lines can be drawn through this pattern to standing stones placed around the perimeter, thus seeking to improve positive energy flow within the garden.

Mediterranean Courtyard

This meditteranean courtyard is a perfect entertainment space catering for that 'al fresco' style outdoor living. The long bench that wraps around the planters provides plenty of seating, a cob oven which allows for cooking outside, Planting consists of fruit espalier trees and herbs such as lavender and rosemary. Colours in the courtyard are blues and terracotas carrying on the meditteranean theme.
